1) we have only ever owned female/males

 

2) Our past experience with a female/male has been positive so we would like to keep with the same sex.

 

3) Our past experience with a female/male has been  negative so we would like to have the opposite gender.

 

4) Females are more loving and gentle

 

5) Males are more dominant.

 

In my past 7 yrs of breeding, I find that most of my customers are flexible on gender, but there are some people who seem interested in females over males, but their reasoning for wanting a female is based on a myth ,that girls are more loving and affectionate than males  and males  are too dominate.

 

Temperment is NOT a Gender Specific trait.

 

It's the temperament of that individual dog. Granted, UNNEUTERED males who are SEXUALLY MATURE can, not always, be more territorial and display marking behavior or territorial guarding , just as UNSPAYED SEXUAL MATURE females can, not always, be more moody and hormonal.

 

The reason for this page is not to change your mind if you have your personal reasons for wanting a particular gender, I respect that. It's basically to inform those who bypass males whose reasons may be based on old myths, therefore they passing up some of the sweetest loving boys.
